You may have noticed that our structure at Chapter London Bridge is fast approaching the height of the tower crane cabs and therefore we are at the point where we need to undertake the first of our tower crane ‘climbs’. To complete adaptions our specialist contractor must utilise a mobile crane. To comply with TFL, Network Rail and Local Authority requirements, the works must be undertaken at weekends, and the following road closures will be in place between the hours of 0700hrs and 1900hrs:
Weston Street – Saturday 24th February, Sunday 25th February, Saturday 9th March 2024.
St Thomas Street – Saturday 2nd March, Sunday 3rd March, Sunday 10th March 2024.

Whilst the works will be visible and the road network on St Thomas Street and Weston Street will be impacted during road closures, the adaptions themselves will not cause vibration, dust or sustained periods of high-volume noise.
