Chapter London Bridge will be a 39-storey, 453 ft tower providing 905 student rooms and a generous 14,000 sq ft of amenity space. Collaboratively designed by KPF and Greystar’s in-house team, the project aims to contribute to the area’s regeneration while prioritising resident wellness.
The tower boasts an environmentally conscious design with a 100% renewable energy supply, a modular panelised facade, and modern construction methods to reduce emissions, waste, and water usage on site. It aims for a BREEAM “Excellent” rating and a five-star Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark score.
Committed to fostering community growth, Greystar has created a youth programme aimed at tackling local inequalities, enhancing employment opportunities, and preparing young residents for future roles. During the construction phase the project will generate over 77 jobs for unemployed residents, 77 short courses to upskill local residents in the construction industry, and 19 apprenticeships.
On top of this, Greystar is working diligently to connect the community, reduce barriers to support, and unlock a wealth of local opportunities for Southwark’s diverse youth population, specifically in the property and construction industry.
